United States Vice President JD Vance and his wife, Usha Vance, have welcomed the birth of their baby boy, Alec Neel Vance.
This is JD Vance and Usha Vance’s fourth child.
In a statement released on Sunday, the Vance family said both mother and baby are healthy and doing well.
“We are excited to announce that our baby boy, Alec Neel Vance, was born this morning. Usha and the baby are happy and healthy, and our kids are overjoyed to meet their little brother,” the statement read.
The family also expressed gratitude to the medical teams who assisted during the delivery, thanking doctors and staff at Walter Reed Medical Center and the White House Medical Unit for their care and support.
“The incredible military doctors and staff members of Walter Reed Medical Center and the White House Medical Unit have been a blessing. We are deeply thankful for all they have done for our family,” the statement added.
The birth marks a new addition to the Vance family, with the couple saying their other children are delighted to welcome their younger brother.
