Apostle Huldah announces 60-day prayer and fasting programme

Apostle Huldah Kamanga of Fountain of Hope Ministries International Church has announced a 60-day prayer and fasting programme aimed at bringing believers together to seek God’s intervention as they prepare to enter 2027.

The programme, dubbed “60 Days of Fire”, will run from November 1 to December 31, according to a Facebook post by Kamanga.

She said the prayers would be based on Psalm 40:1-3, a biblical passage that speaks about waiting on God for help, being lifted out of difficult situations and having one’s feet placed on firm ground.

“For 60 days starting this November 1st until December 31st, our prayer is to connect to the God of Psalm 40:1-3,” Kamanga wrote.

She invited people facing various challenges and those seeking divine intervention to take part in the programme, expressing confidence that they would overcome their difficulties before the end of the year.

“Those who are trusting that God will arrest and frustrate our enemies, while he establishes us on a firm place to stand. We must win in this season. 2027 we must enter with confidence!” she wrote.

The announcement follows Kamanga’s recent three-day prayer crusade held at Mbayani Primary School Ground in Blantyre under the theme “Recover It All”, which attracted large crowds.

Through her preaching and evangelism work, Kamanga has continued to organise prayer gatherings and other religious activities aimed at encouraging believers to strengthen their faith.

Beyond her church ministry, she is also involved in charity and community development through the Apostle Huldah Foundation and Huldah’s Global Foundation.

The initiatives support vulnerable people through various interventions, including feeding programmes, the provision of school uniforms, scholarships and vocational training for young people.

In August 2026, the Apostle Huldah Foundation awarded a K20 million scholarship to a student from Lilongwe to support his five-year university education.

Kamanga has also conducted prison outreach programmes, where she preaches to inmates and offers spiritual encouragement.

Her community development work extends to public institutions, including Mpingu Police Station, where she is working on a project to improve sanitation and hygiene through the construction of toilets.

As matron of Lingadzi Police Station, Kamanga recently initiated the construction of cells, offices and toilets to support the Victim Support Unit and expand the station’s cell facilities.

During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, her foundation also pledged K58 million towards the treatment of patients over the following year.

The pledge was part of efforts to improve access to treatment, promote early detection and raise awareness of breast cancer.

The upcoming “60 Days of Fire” programme will run through the final two months of 2026, with Kamanga encouraging believers to remain committed to prayer as they seek God’s intervention in their lives and prepare for the new year.
