Senior Prophet Mtupa graduates with Accounting degree

Senior Prophet Rodrick Mtupa has graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Accounting, Auditing and Information Systems, adding another achievement to his work as a prophet, preacher and church leader.

Mtupa was among graduates at a graduation ceremony being held at the Bingu International Convention Centre (BICC) in Lilongwe today, after completing his studies at the Malawi College of Accountancy (MCA).

He graduated with Credit, marking another academic milestone for the senior prophet.

The qualification comes as Mtupa continues to serve as a religious leader and engage the public through his preaching and messages on issues of national interest.

Mtupa is the founder and leader of Holy Palace Cathedral International Ministries and has become a familiar figure in Malawi’s religious circles through his preaching and prophecies.

His prophecies and public messages have, over the years, touched on a range of issues, including politics, sport and other matters affecting Malawians.

Away from the pulpit, Mtupa has now added accounting, auditing and information systems to his academic credentials.

The achievement also highlights how people in ministry can pursue education while serving in their respective religious roles.

With his new qualification, Mtupa has gained knowledge in areas that can be useful in running an organisation, particularly financial management, auditing and accountability.

His graduation therefore marks another milestone in the journey of a preacher who has continued to combine ministry with education.
