Speaking on the collaboration, CapeStars manager Darlington Ndasauka said the brand wanted to support a landmark cultural moment for Malawi.

“We’re proud to partner with Lawi Group on this concert because it brings world-class entertainment to Malawians. By taking care of the artists’ hospitality, we want to ensure Brian McKnight and his team feel welcomed and can focus fully on delivering a great show. This is our way of contributing to Malawi’s growing music and events scene,” Ndasauka said.

The alcoholic beverages manager added: “We are called the Warm Heart of Africa not just because of our geography but because of our spirit. At CapeStars, we carry that spirit. We are the spirit of friendship, of community and of pride in who we are.”

Speaking on behalf of Lawi Group, sensational musician Lawi welcomed the gesture saying it will help elevate the overall experience of the event.

“We are thrilled to have CapeStars on board.

“Their support means our international guests will experience Malawian hospitality at its best and it allows us to focus on delivering a smooth, memorable concert. We sincerely appreciate CapeStars for stepping in and being part of this journey with us,” said Lawi.

Lawi added that the partnership reflects growing collaboration in Malawi’s entertainment industry ahead of what is expected to be one of the biggest cultural events of the year.

Meanwhile, tickets for the Brian McKnight performance are already in high demand.
