888Bets Malawi customers transition to Bandabets

Bandabets and 888Bets have announced the successful transition of 888Bets Malawi customers to the Bandabets platform, effective immediately.

The companies say the move is aimed at providing customers with an enhanced sports betting experience while ensuring a seamless continuation of services.

According to a joint statement, all customer details, account balances and betting history have been securely migrated to the Bandabets platform.

Customers are required to reset their passwords before accessing their accounts.

Those who successfully reset their passwords and access their accounts will receive a K700 free bet as part of the transition.

Bandabets says the move marks the next phase in its expansion across African markets.

“We are excited to welcome 888Bets players to Bandabets, a truly Pan-African betting brand built for speed, reliability, and rewarding experiences,” Bandabets said.

The company says it intends to build on the reputation established by 888Bets through improved technology, customer engagement and product innovation.

“Our priority is ensuring every customer enjoys a smooth transition and continues to experience reliable, rewarding, and responsible sports betting,” the company said.

Meanwhile, 888Bets says the transition represents a natural evolution that will allow its customers to continue accessing betting services through a platform with improved performance and enhanced engagement opportunities.

“We are confident customers remain in safe and credible hands,” 888Bets said.

Bandabets, which was launched in 2024, is currently licensed to operate in Kenya, Nigeria, Uganda, Zambia and the Democratic Republic of Congo, with expansion into additional African markets underway.

The company says responsible gaming remains central to its operations, alongside technology, compliance and an understanding of local African markets.
