Vice President Jane Ansah has urged women in Malawi to turn to God when facing challenges in their lives instead of relying on people or social media for solutions.
Ansah made the remarks when she addressed a Zambezi Church women at Manjawira in Ntcheu, where she encouraged them to remain hopeful and trust in God during difficult times.
Ansah said challenges are temporary and women should remain steadfast in their faith, stressing that no matter how dark the night becomes, the sun will eventually rise.
She also encouraged the women to continue engaging in charitable activities and to serve their families responsibly.
The vice president further called on women to use religion as a tool for promoting reconciliation and unity, in line with President Peter Mutharika’s call for national unity.
She urged the women to strengthen their bonds and use their faith to promote peace and togetherness in their communities.
